Creative Designer Head in Pre-Press Function | India

Your responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for artwork approval, dummy and shade approval and plate output as per plan.
  • Primary focus on material consumption reduction-design waste, controlling CTP plate rejection.
  • Collation and communication of all relevant information to the production team to allow the fast, effective production of quality design and artwork which exceeds our client's expectations.
  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining pre-press/CTP standards in terms of quality and productivity.
  • Developing new designs for packaging and closely working with customers for their requirement.
  • Identifying and leading the development and implementation of Prepress workflow process improvements and automation.
  • Handling of new incoming jobs and execution of new developments.
  • Designing infographics, short animation, graphical presentation of complex data, etc in a visually stimulating manner.
  • Keeping up to date with the new design, software, post-production techniques and industry trends.
  • Maintaining an archive of various designs, briefs, photos & artwork for all future uses to save on time element. 
  • Finding corrective and preventive action against any customer complaint related to packaging. 
  • Coordination with all other departments for smooth flow of work and solving the problem.
  • Experienced in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance of pre-press equipment’s.
  • Overall responsible for participating/involving in different audits and further responsible for implementing the solutions based on audit findings within time frame.
